Top of the agenda for most voters during the national elections in 2018 were integration, equal opportunities and the national health service. Education wasn’t getting a look-in – which is surprising – because it is schools that have to get to grips with these issues.

Details

The working conditions of teachers has a direct impact on students – the very people that will shape and run the society of the future. If we want more climate researchers, healthier societal values and more people to work in the healthcare sector, we should be investing in teachers now. We call it the teacher effect.

Before the campaign education was the fifth most important question for voters in Sweden. After the campaign education reached the second place! One of the ads was nominated for the Swedish Award Columbi ägg.
