After 10 years of building a community platform from the ground up, Florida’s original advocacy platform was ready to evolve. Through strategic repositioning and rebranding efforts, we enabled VISIT FLORIDA to transform Share A Little Sunshine into a robust social platform. By leveraging its strong grassroots foundation, and marrying it with an intentional purpose-driven brand, it now serves as a vibrant hub for celebrating our Florida community and highlighting the multitude of reasons to cherish the Sunshine State.

Social media is a powerful tool for destinations and travel marketers. To help VISIT FLORIDA bring economy-boosting tourism to the state, we created LoveFL, a social media marketing tool powered by the feeds of Florida’s millions of residents sharing why they love Florida. Though we started at 0, this community of now 875K+ members is always on and always growing. Tapping into Floridians’ natural social media behaviors, we have generated over 3M pieces of content. And we’ve used this content to inspire travel. Lots of it – connecting social media engagement to direct economic impact for the state of Florida.
